Patent: Digital management for tilt-shift lenses | Canon Rumors

Once more: I say a motorized Tilt is beneficial for the longer (90mm or past) lenses. Think about a twin eye autofocus, he tilts the aircraft a little bit bit to each eyes. That may very well be very helpful as a portrait lens, even when its “solely” f/2.8 then…. Or 135 f/4 (each are the most recent TS-E lenses).

However I cannot swap by TSE17 for this electronical function. How costly they could be? 5k? (double) or much more? No approach. For architectural images the present lenses are okay. I do not just like the “make it louder, go to eleven!” factor to interchange it by an 14mm… Then the gap between the frequent 24mm is to excessive. (or do they need additionally add a 19mm or so within the center?)
