Tokina has introduced the atx-m 11–18mm F2.8 E, its newest lens for Sony APS-C digicam techniques. This new lens is the primary super-wide-angle zoom lens Tokina has designed completely for mirrorless cameras.
The lens, which presents a roughly 17–27mm full-frame equal focal size, is constructed of 13 parts in 11 teams, together with two aspherical and two tremendous low-dispersion (SD) glass parts. The optical parts use with Tokina’s proprietary coating to attenuate ghosting and flaring.
Different options embody a 19cm (7.5”) minimal focusing distance, an aperture vary of F2.8 by F22, a guide focus ring, a 67mm front-filter thread and a nine-blade aperture diaphragm. Tokina makes use of its stepping motor (ST-M) unit for offering autofocus and the lens is fully-compatible with picture stabilization, direct guide focus (MF), MF help modes, Eye AF and in-camera optical corrections.
